Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Return Policy

Products must be returned to us within 7 days from the date of delivery to the customer. Products must be returned with all original tags, packaging materials, courier receipt, invoice, and any accompanying papers. Items should be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition.

2. Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected by Smart Farmers, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method or chosen method of refund. Refunds may take 5–7 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

3. Refund & Cancellation for Service-based Transactions

As Smart Farmers provides digital and service-based offerings (such as Smart Farmer ID creation, verification, and digital services), there will be no refunds or cancellations once payment has been successfully made. Please ensure you review all details carefully before making a payment.

4. Cancellation Policy

Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, provided that the order has not yet been processed or shipped. Once the order is dispatched or more than 24 hours have passed, cancellation requests cannot be entertained. However, returns (as per our return policy) are still available for all eligible products.

5. Shipping & Delivery Policy

Smart Farmers ships its products and services to most parts of India. Orders are processed within 24 hours and shipped on all working days except Sundays and national holidays. Delivery time for major cities is typically 3–4 business days, while remote areas may take 1–2 weeks. In case of unforeseen delays or logistics issues beyond our control, Smart Farmers will not be liable but will work to resolve the issue at the earliest. We reserve the right to cancel any order in rare cases of untraceable shipments or excessive delays and refund the amount paid to the original source account.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases such as duplicate transactions, payment gateway errors, or system failures resulting in incorrect charges. Such cases will be verified by Smart Farmers before initiating a refund.

8. Compliance with Consumer Protection & Data Laws

This policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We maintain transparency in pricing, refund timelines, and user data handling. No sensitive personal or financial data is shared with third parties.

9. Non-affiliation with Government Entities

Smart Farmers and the “Smart Farmer ID” service are independent initiatives and not affiliated with any government department or scheme. Payments made on this website are for private services offered by Smart Farmers only.

10. Limitation of Liability

Smart Farmers will not be responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by courier partners, natural calamities, or other circumstances beyond our control. Refunds or replacements in such cases will be processed at our discretion.
